5th & 6th Degree Demonstration on 27th April 2015

The King Edward VII Rose Croix Chapter of Improvement are demonstrating the 5th Degree (Perfect Master) and the 6th Degree (Intimate Secretary) in the Grand Temple, Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street, London, on Monday 27th April 2015.

As has been the case for the past few years a group of Warwickshire Rose Croix Masons will be attending.

We are in the process of arranging a guided tour of Grand East, 10 Duke Street, St James, London at about 1.30pm on the day. It is anticipated that we will move on to The Sun Pub near to Freemasons' Hall and then on for the 5pm Demonstration.

The cost of attending the 5pm Demonstration alone is £16. Because of cost and time we have found that few will wish to stay for the meal afterwards. Importantly please remember to enclose a stamped, self addressed envelope with your application form and cheque so your tickets can be posted.

There are trains with prices as low as £3 each way from Birmingham International to Euston if you book in well in advance. We usually try to get a party together to catch the 11.39 Virgin from Birmingham International Railway Station to Euston and return on the 21.03 from Euston. The journey is about 1 hour 15 minutes each way and stops at Coventry. Please be aware of potential difficulties with other train services.

With luck we may again be given the best seats in the house at Freemasons' Hall as I am trying to book a row of seats for our use. (I am hoping for a guided tour immediately before or after the Demonstration as a former colleague works there.)

We have enjoyed some wonderful days in London over recent years but it would be amazing to see the MWS - or his representative - of every Chapter attending together with all newly Perfected Brethren. All 18th Degree Masons are eligible to attend.

This venture has the full and grateful support of the Inspector General.

Perfectees Meeting 2014

Recent Perfectees were invited by the District  to attend Shakespeare Chapter No. 15 on Wednesday 26th of November and were able to witness a double Perfection Ceremony bringing yet two more candidates in to  the Chapter.

A lovely Ceremony was followed by a talk by the Inspector General based on the Lecture, “Perfection in Perspective” explaining many parts of the Ceremony that the Candidates had just been through.

The remaining business of the Chapter was then completed and after the Third Point the Chapter was closed.

The new Perfectees were then treated to a Festive Board at which the Inspector General went on to further explain the rest of the Ceremony and invited questions. A good evening was had by all and the newly Perfected Brethren who attended must have gone away with a greater knowledge of the beautiful Order that they have joined and indeed some long established members stated that they also were now even wiser !
